Launch of the Matthew Williamson Book
Friends joined Matthew last night for the launch of Fashion, Print and Colouring at Anthropologie on London’s Regent Street. Amber Le Bon, Hilary Alexander and Kelly Eastwood all gathered on the sofa for Matthew to sign their books over cocktails by Sipsmith. But the guest of honour was surely Joan Burstein, founder of Browns boutique and Matthew’s very first buyer. She purchased Rosanna’s Eden, a capsule collection that preceded Electric Angels.
The book is an ode to the rich print archive of the brand’s 20 year history. From the famous dragonfly print to travel-inspired graphic patchworks. Immerse yourself in inspiration shots, behind-the-scenes photographs, sketches and prints from our 20-year archive.
“Twenty years ago I set up my fashion company, and so I wanted to mark this occasion by creating something personal yet also something to be shared and enjoyed.”
“This book felt like a passion project for me to mark this important milestone.”
