The Floral Folk Shift

Some say it's a shame to gild the lily, but this rose has just the right adornment.

Floral Folk Shift

From afar, this catwalk look captures the Matthew Williamson concept for the season. But up close, in detail, the dress comes into its own.

To create the bespoke Floral Folk jacquard, the atelier worked with anĀ English mill based in Suffolk who stand by traditions of fine fabrics woven with integrity in Britain. Never a more appropriate creator for this ode to a very English Rose.

150 hours of hand-embroidery create the roses and highlights of each shift, with over 1,800 beads in a single rose. 72 fluoro stones flash through the dress, highlighting the cut and lines of the jacquard.
